A Heritage Week 2023 Event in Partnership with Blackrock Castle Observatory
Dark Sky Ireland would like to invite you to join the team at MTU Blackrock Castle Observatory as we explore the history of this iconic castle and the shared cultural heritage of the night sky.
Blackrock Castle Science Facilitators will be delivering 3 x 20 minute star shows on the morning of August 12th and including talks on light pollution and how it is relevant to astronomy as well as the conservation of our natural heritage.
This event is made possible by The Heritage Council of Ireland Capacity Fund.
This is a free event but booking is essential
